The Organization of African First Ladies Against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA) were also present as their husbands attended the African Union (AU) Summit in the Rwandan capital, Kigali.
The OAFLA are engaged in the fight against Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and against breast and cervical cancer.
The current head of the organization is First Lady of Ghana, HE Dr. Lordina Mahama even though she was absent from the summit.
